The Science Behind It

Colour analysis is rooted in colour theory — specifically temperature, value, and chroma:

• Temperature: warm or cool

• Value: light or deep

• Chroma: soft/muted or bright/clear

Every person has a natural combination of these three qualities. When you wear colours that match your natural colouring, your features lift. Your skin looks smoother. Your eyes brighten. Your whole presence feels more balanced.

When colours fight against your natural colouring, they can create shadows, dullness, or unevenness, even if the colour itself is beautiful.

Gentle, blended, powdery colours. Think lavender, soft navy, rose, misty blues.

Spring - Warm, Light, Bright

Fresh, lively, sunlit colours. Think coral, aqua, peach, golden yellow.

Autumn - Warm, Deep, Soft

Earthy, rich, grounded colours. Think olive, rust, mustard, terracotta.

My Training

I’m a fully trained colour analyst, having completed the CPD Standards Colour Analysis Training through StyleME. My training includes:

• the 6 colour concepts

• the 4‑season system

• undertone identification

• drape methodology

• wardrobe building

• client communication

I continue to study and refine my practice; colour analysis is both a science and an art and I treat it with the care it deserves. It truly is my passion.
